Alfred Heidenheimer Scholarship
This scholarship was established in honor of Alfred Heidenheimer, who helped many of his family members emigrate from Germany to escape Nazi persecution. Members of the Heidenheimer family appreciated Alfred’s moral and financial support and, through this scholarship, would like to help broaden the educational opportunities for young people from Anson and Jones counties, where he lived for 30 years. The scholarship is awarded to an entering freshman, with first preference given to a graduate of Anson High School and second preference to a student from Jones County, for four years of undergraduate study.
