Amy Morgan Porter and Morgan Baker Cheer Leadership Scholarship

Amy Porter, BS ’99, established this scholarship in support of Cheer and Pom captain and co-captain students pursuing their degree at the University of Texas at Austin. Amy is a Life Member of the Texas Exes and as a student, once worked for the Texas Exes. Amy received her degree in Textiles and Clothing/Apparel and was a Longhorn Cheerleader. Her daughter, Morgan (BS ‘19), was also a cheerleader. Amy is founder and Executive Chairman of her company, AffiniPay. Amy is proud of her cheerleading past and recognizes the training and commitment required as a cheerleader laid the groundwork of her own success. In recognition of the countless hours Texas Cheer and Pom teams dedicate to enriching the University sports and event experience for others while pursuing their own education, Amy seeks to honor their hard work and commitment through these Cheer scholarships.
