Bipin Avashia, M. D. Dell Medical School Scholarship

Bipin H. Avashia graduated from medical school in Baroda, India in 1969. Upon graduating he moved to New York City where he did his residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Avashia is board certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine. During his career, he practiced medicine as an occupational physician in Charleston, WV and in Kansas City, MO. While living in West Virginia he had a clinical appointment with West Virginia University to teach residents studying Occupational Medicine. Dr. Avashia is now retired and resides with his family in Austin, TX. During Dr. Avashia’s career he has enjoyed giving scholarship money to deserving medical students in hopes they give back to educate future physicians .
