Carol and Jeff Heller Forty Acres Scholarship

Carol and Jeff Heller both graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with bachelor’s of business administration degrees and are Life Members of the Texas Exes. The Hellers feel that the University significantly impacted their employment opportunities and they wanted to donate this scholarship in order to give those same opportunities to others. They believe strongly that the University stands for excellence, and they want to perpetuate it. Carol and Jeff met at the University and married after graduation. Jeff served in the Marine Corps and then joined EDS (Electronic Data Systems) in 1968. He worked there until 2002 and then, after retiring, EDS asked him to return which he did in 2003 and then retired permanently in 2008. He began his EDS career as a trainee and in the late 90s until 2002, and then again upon his return in 2003 until retirement in 2008, Jeff served as COO and Vice Chair. Carol worked for Exxon after graduation.
