Club Sembradores de Amistad

Club Sembradores de Amistad, a group of Austinites dedicated to helping underprivileged college students, created this endowment to benefit Hispanic students. The name of the international nonprofit organization, which has its headquarters in Monterrey, Mexico, means “sowers of friendship.” Their mission is to raise as much money as possible to support deserving young people who need financial assistance to attend college. It is awarded for four years of undergraduate study to a Hispanic entering freshman who has a financial need.
