De Leon Family Challenge Grant Scholarship

Hector, BS ’70, JD ’73, and Arleigh De Leon, Life Members, created this scholarship to provide opportunities for deserving Hispanic students. Hector is president of De Leon and Washburn P.C. and an adjunct professor at the School of Law. He is also past chair of the University’s College of Education Foundation Advisory Council and a past president of the Texas Exes. It is awarded to a deserving Hispanic entering freshman for four years of undergraduate study.
