Deborah C. Howell Memorial Scholarship for Women in Journalism

The family of Deborah Howell, BJ ’62, created this scholarship in her loving memory. On Jan. 2, 2010, Deborah died in a tragic accident while vacationing in New Zealand with her husband, C. Peter Magrath. As Deborah was a leader in journalism, this scholarship goes to a sophomore woman journalism major who has a demonstrated financial need.
