Dr. Charles and Mary Love Bailey

This scholarship was created to honor Mary Love Bailey and the late Dr. Charles Bailey, BA ’38, LLB ’66, of Austin. The Baileys supported the University and higher education for more than 60 years, while always showing compassion for those less fortunate. These two qualities are wonderful examples for the recipient. It is awarded to an African-American or Hispanic entering freshman who demonstrates academic excellence and a financial need for four years of undergraduate study.
