Earnest & Agnes Gloyna Family Scholarship

Life Member and Distinguished Alumnus Dr. Earnest Gloyna and his wife Agnes created this scholarship to honor the Gloyna Family’s long association with UT Austin. Dr. Gloyna is professor emeritus of civil engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and the recipient of the 2002 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Environmental Water Resources Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He has been associated with UT as a teacher, researcher and administrator for five decades. He was dean of the College of Engineering from 1970 to 1988 and currently holds the Bettie Smith Chair in Environmental Health Engineering Emeritus. He is a current member of the Texas Exes Scholarship Committee. This scholarship honors the entire Gloyna Family.
