George Kozmetsky Forty Acres Scholarship
George Kozmetsky, Life Member, was the dean of the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin from 1966-1982 and founded of IC2 Institute in 1977. The technology visionary changed the school’s culture permanently by creating an environment of overall academic excellence that helped propel the school into the national ranks. An entrepreneur, scholar, investor and philanthropist, Kozmetsky helped lay the groundwork for Austin’s high-tech boom in the 1990s.
This scholarship was created with gifts from family and friends to honor his UT legacy.
