Hazel Harrod Ransom Memorial Scholarship

Hazel Louise Harrod Ransom, Life Member, was the widow of the late University president and UT System chancellor Harry Ransom. Through her will, Hazel provided for the establishment of a scholarship to be funded by an estate auction. It is awarded to undergraduate English majors at the sophomore level or above who have an outstanding academic record and a financial need.
