Jeanne L. and Michael L. Klein Forty Acres Scholarship

Michael, Life Member, and his wife Jeanne are both graduates of The University of Texas at Austin and devote much of their time to philanthropy in support of their alma mater and causes promoting the liberal arts.

Jeanne, BS ’67, received a degree in special education. She has served as a member of the Blanton Museum Council. Jeanne is a life member of the College of Education Foundation Advisory Council and a member of the Harry Ransom Center Advisory Council.

Michael, BS ’58, LLB ’63, received a degree in petroleum engineering before graduating from the law school. He is the chair of the Blanton Museum Council and chair of the University of Texas Press.

The Kleins are both life members of the University’s Development Board and are members of the UT Elementary School Development Council.
