Joe B. Frantz Memorial Scholarship

Family, friends, and the Texas Exes Houston Chapter established this scholarship in memory of Joe B. Frantz, BJ ’38, MA ’40, PhD ’48, Life Member. Joe spent 50 years on the campus and retired as professor emeritus of history. The scholarship is for an undergraduate or graduate student who is pursuing scholarly research in the history of Texas, Mexico, and the Southwest.
