Madison Charitable Foundation Forty Acres Scholarship

Wiley Hatcher established the Madison Charitable Foundation with proceeds from the sale of his pipeline engineering company. Hatcher resided in Port Gibson, Mississippi, for many years before relocating to Houston, Texas.

James “Joc” Carpenter, member of the foundation’s board of directors, was quoted as saying, “Wiley just wants to help people. He wants to give people a chance.”

The foundation supports a variety of charitable organizations ranging from children’s hospitals, universities and food banks to after-school organizations for underprivileged children.
