Mark Holland Daniels Memorial Scholarship

Lynn Davis established this scholarship endowment in memory of her late brother, Mark Holland Daniels. Mark graduated from The University of Texas in 1982 with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering followed by his M.B.A in 1984. Mark excelled in his career and helped launch the world’s first commercial rocket from Matagorda Island, TX in 1982. Mark was a proud member of the External Advisory Committee in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University, and he had a deep love for rocketry, satellites, and space exploration. To jumpstart this endowment, Mark’s wife, Tricia Daniels (alumnae ‘84), Mark’s brother, Frank Daniels (alumnus ’87), and the Donor, Mark’s sister, Lynn Davis (alumnae ’83) are each committing to fulfilling the endowment.
