PMH Scholarship

While a student at The University of Texas at Austin, Henry Hutcheson, BA ’88, became acquainted with three women who worked their way through college while undertaking student loans. He admired these women for their effort and recalls the additional stress their circumstances placed upon them. Henry’s mother gave a loan one of these women and later forgave the loan. This act had a tremendous impact on the woman, who became a philanthropist as a result of this generosity. Henry is establishing this scholarship to honor his mother and the women who inspired him.
