Rod Sands Diversity Scholarship

Locke, Liddell and Sapp, L.L.P., along with family and friends, established this scholarship to honor the memory of late partner Rod Sands, BBA ’79, JD ’82, and to support Rod’s deep commitment to increasing racial and ethnic diversity in the legal profession. Rod served on his firm’s diversity committee, which recruited minorities to the firm. The scholarship is for an African-American or Hispanic student in the School of Law.
