Salvador and Viola Luna Scholarship

Salvador and Viola Luna Scholarship

Salvador and Viola Luna were advocates of higher education, in words and actions. They were graduates of the public school system in Houston and the first in their respective families to graduate from college. Salvador died in 1996, and his children established this scholarship to honor his memory. It is awarded for multiple years of undergraduate study to a Hispanic entering freshman or undergraduate student from Houston or Harris County who demonstrates scholarship, leadership, and a financial need.
