Sara May Meriwether and George K. Meriwether III Memorial

Following the death of Sara May Meriwether, BA ’51, Life Member, on Oct. 4, 2003, her husband George, family, and friends created this scholarship in her memory. When George, BBA ’47, Life Member, died on March 18, 2005, additional contributions were given in his memory. Both were devoted leaders and volunteers in the community. The scholarship is given to an African-American or Hispanic student enrolled in the School of Nursing for four years of undergraduate study.
