Silver Spurs-Cuyler Duncan Memorial Scholarship

The John ‘Cuyler’ Duncan Memorial Scholarship was established in 2017 by family and close friends to honor the legacy of a beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend. Cuyler, BBA ’02, MPA ’02, was a proud third-generation Longhorn who was dedicated to the traditions of the University and was a member of the Silver Spurs during his years as a student. Cuyler’s zeal and joy for life affected all those who knew him.
A memorial tile in his name was installed in the Bevo Museum in recognition of his commitment to the University and to the Silver Spurs.
This scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in business or accounting, with preference given to a member of the Silver Spurs organization.
