Steven Wade Elms Memorial Scholarship

During his years at the University, Steve Elms was active as a Texas Cowboy and a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. After his untimely death, this scholarship was created in his memory from contributions by his friends and family. The scholarship is for an entering freshman, with preference given to a student from the Midland-Odessa area, who exemplifies the characteristics that Steve possessed: leadership, entrepreneurship, ambition, and strong ties to family and friends.
