Texas Exes Dallas Chapter Forty Acres Scholarship

The Texas Exes Dallas Chapter is a local chapter of the Texas Exes, the alumni association of The University of Texas at Austin. The purpose of the chapter is to connect local Texas Exes to each other and to the past, present, and future of The University of Texas at Austin. The chapter has a variety of committees and activities designed to fulfill the purpose and vision of the Texas Exes in Dallas and its surrounding cities. The Dallas Chapter is a 501©(3) non-profit organization, which raises money to provide Dallas and Collin county high school students scholarships to attend the University.

In 2009, the Texas Exes Dallas Chapter initiated fundraising to endow a Forty Acres Scholarship. As of 2016, the chapter has endowed two scholarships and is in the process of endowing a third.
