The Evelyn Bohls Memorial Scholarship

Julia Mellenbruch is establishing this scholarship in memory of her cousin, Evelyn Bohls. Miss Bohls received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She was an inspiration to the thousands of nursing students she taught and mentored at Scott and White Memorial School of Professional Nursing. She also established the vocational nursing program at Temple College in Temple, Texas. Julia Mellenbruch received a Bachelor of Arts in 1937 and a Master of Arts in 1954 in Arts and Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin
