Thomas and Audrey Pesek

Life Member Thomas Pesek, B.S. Chemistry ’75 and his wife, Audrey Pesek established these scholarships to help deserving graduates from small, Texas towns pursue their education at The University of Texas at Austin. It is hoped that a degree from the university will serve as a foundation for a successful future for its recipients. Thomas and Audrey graduated from a small rural Texas High School (less than 100 members in each graduating class). Both had the opportunity to attend and graduate from a Texas college which served them well throughout their lives.

With the great need for well-trained scientists, mathematicians, and engineers, Thomas & Audrey created the Science & Engineering scholarship to help a deserving student pursue an education in one of these disciplines at the University of Texas at Austin.
