William Marshall Langley and Larry Wilson Langley Memorial Scholarship

William Marshall Langley and Larry Wilson Langley Memorial Scholarship

Friends and relatives of William “Will” Marshall Langley established this scholarship after Will’s death in a traffic accident on Oct. 10, 1999, while returning from the Texas-OU game. The award is also a tribute from friends and family to the life of Will’s father, Larry Langley, BA ’65, LLB ’68, Life Member, who died in 2007. The scholarship is given to an entering freshman who is a native Texan and liberal arts major, with first preference given to graduates of Austin High School, for four years of undergraduate study.
