Rose Baptiste Memorial Challenge Grant Scholarship

For deserving students who represent groups that are traditionally underrepresented in medicine and are enrolled at the University’s Dell Medical School. Preference will be given to African American students who graduated from DeBakey High School for Health Professionals in Houston, Texas. Second preference will be given to Hispanic students who graduated from DeBakey High School for Health Professions in Houston, Texas. If no student(s) meet(s) the criteria, the first preference will be given to African American students and second preference to Hispanic students. The scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years as long as the recipient remains in good standing.
