Karen D. Hagedorn Semester Abroad Scholarship
For undergraduate students in good standing accepted into a study abroad program receiving UT Austin credit for at least one full (12 hours) semester (spring or fall). Course of study abroad does not need to be directly applicable to degree program as long as course credit is received. Non-UT programs are acceptable if UT credit is verified and appropriate University and Department processes are followed. Undergraduate students may be considered immediately after UT Austin undergraduate degree receipt if they are continuing at UT Austin in another degree program immediately following study abroad. Students must be US citizens or permanent residents. Preference given to students with financial need. The Texas Exes will determine
an individual’s financial need based on information provided on their application. The intent of the scholarship is to provide the largest award up to the cost of attendance, after federal, state and university financial aid awards are applied.
