Bill Garrett Memorial Scholarship

William “Bill” Frank Garrett attended the University from 1958-1959 after serving in the Korean War. He married Janet Evelyn Deaton in 1962, and they had two daughters, Nannette Rachelle and Jennifer Kae, and three grandchildren, Tiffany, Kristean, and Garrett. Bill and Janet loved helping kids with education, and his family established this endowed scholarship to continue his legacy at the university that he loved.
