Karen D. Hagedorn Semester Abroad Scholarship

Dr. Karen D. Hagedorn established this scholarship endowment for students of the University of Texas at Austin who wish to study abroad. Dr. Hagedorn received her B.S. in Petroleum Engineering in 1986 and is a Life Member of Texas Exes. She believes it is important for students to experience different cultures by residing and studying abroad. She herself had the opportunity to live in five countries on three continents and she has traveled the world, including participating in Texas Exes’ Flying Longhorn Trips.
