Richard W. Blalock Memorial Scholarship

Family and friends, including his widow, Ruby Wootten Blalock, and his daughter, Anne Blalock Bunten, established this scholarship in memory of Richard W. Blalock, LLB ’28, Life Member. During his time at UT, he was elected student body president, was selected as a Friar, and was a founding member and Foreman of the Texas Cowboys. Richard went on to practice law in Marshall, and he supported the University until his death in 1984.
