Richard W. Blalock Memorial Scholarship

For deserving entering freshmen at the University of Texas at Austin with first preference being given to graduates of any Marshall High School. Second preference will be given to graduates of any Harrison County or Gregg County high school. The scholarship can be continued for three additional years of undergraduate work as long as the recipient maintains at least a 2.75 GPA. If no high school graduates from the preferred areas are available for this award, it can be given to any deserving entering freshman.
